We are raising money for a new Adventure Playground. Our Colour Run is open to all families & young people in the Chichester community and we’d love you to join in!

Get ready, get set, get sponsored!

As well as taking part in our super-fun Colour Run, we’d love your support with fundraising for our new Adventure Playground. Why not ask friends & family to sponsor you for your run?! The money you raise can either be paid in as cash to our St Richard’s school office or via our GoFundMe.

The Route

The 1k route will loop around the school and grounds twice, where you will be splashed with colour powder as you run by each colour station. Be sure to wear a white t-shirt to show your true colours!

Refreshments will be ready and waiting for you to purchase at the end of the Colour Run, to refuel & rehydrate.

The boring but important bit

To take part in the colour run we will need you to sign a waiver for both adults and children who want to join the fun

FAQs

What should I wear? A white t-shirt is a good idea, and trainers or comfortable shoes. Sun cream and a sunhat are advised. Eye protection is essential - glasses / sunglasses / goggles - to protect your eyes from the powder. Participation will not be allowed without protective eyewear.

Should I bring anything? A bottle of water, a towel to dust yourself off, your ticket & waiver (on phone or printed); a charged phone. Don’t forget your protective eyewear! Please bring an inhaler if you use one or any other medication you rely on.

What measures are in place to ensure safety? A thorough risk assessment will be done before the event, and a participation waiver must be signed for every participant. First aiders, marshalls, volunteers and support staff will be on site for support.

How do I fundraise for the event? We would love it if you wanted to raise money! Get your loved ones to sponsor you to do your run, simply download the sponsorship form to get going or share the go fund me donations page.

Can children take part? Yes! We encourage families to take part together. All children under 18yrs must have a supervising adult present at the event. Children under 12yrs must be accompanied by a participating adult with them during the run itself.

What happens if it rains? In the event of serious adverse weather, the event will be cancelled. We will be communicating regularly with all ticket holders in the lead up to the event.

About the Powder The powder we are using is a non-toxic holi powder made from cornstarch and food colouring and is not harmful to people, animals or plant life. Whilst the powder is designed to wash out, colour may linger on certain fabrics and hair types. Keep washing!

Is it suitable for buggies & dogs? No, sadly not, the terrain can be a little bumpy in places, and due to the colour powder, we suggest that both dogs and children under 4 do not take part in the Colour Run.
