Advent Fayre Covid Information
Sadly this year there has to be some extra precautions due to the Covid pandemic.
You will find our plans below.
If any of you have any concerns or questions please get in contact with us through the contact form.

Our Advent Fayre is almost here!
There is so much planned to make this a day to remember for our whole community.
The Friends would like to assure everyone that we are taking measures to ensure that the Fayre is as covid secure as possible.
Gone are the days of the Fayre being in the hall only; this year the Fayre will be spread out across the school utilising the hall, KS1 classrooms, library, playground, field, forest school area and the outside ‘Pod’ classroom.
To give you all an idea of the area we will be covering, here’s a brief ‘what’s where’!
Hall – Games, gift stalls, photo booth, glitter tattoos, books and toys
Library – Quiet area for writing letters to Santa and colouring in
The outside ‘Pod’ Classroom – Refreshments (Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, mulled wine)
Playground - Open air seating, games, refreshments (Hog roast, vegan food, cakes)
Forest School area – S’more making and campfire
Willow class – Stall of craft items made by our fantastic local community
Covered area outside Willow class – Tombolas
Covered area outside Sycamore class - Plants, reindeer food making
Oak class - Festive craft workshops held by Paintbox Creations
Sycamore class - Biscuit decorating and badge making
There are several things the Friends will be doing throughout the duration of the Fayre to ensure everyone has a safe and comfortable time.
Firstly, all our refreshments will be served outside in the playground and there will be seating outside meaning you can grab some lunch and a hot drink and chat outside in the fresh air.
Numbers for our organised activities such as S’more making in the forest school area, badge making, biscuit decorating and the festive craft workshops will be kept with small numbers of children taking part at any one time so that everyone can be spaced out.
We will have sanitiser available throughout the school and everyone is invited to wear masks if they wish. There will also be regular sanitising of the touch points around the school for the duration of the Fayre.
Windows and doors will be left open throughout the school for ventilation, so please make sure that you all wrap up warm!
We hope that you will all join us for an unforgettable day of fun!
